Job Summary:
8+ years of overall software engineering experience with at least 4+ years hands-on with Camunda BPM
Strong expertise in Camunda
Deep experience with BPMN 2.0 modelling — complex process patterns, error handling, compensation, message correlation, timer events, and escalation
Proficiency in DMN 1.3 decision modelling — decision tables, literal expressions, and decision requirements diagrams (DRDs)
Strong backend development skills in .NET Core / C# and/or Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) — ideally both
Experience designing and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures using REST APIs, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS
Demonstrated experience in the financial services domain — banking, capital markets, wealth management, insurance, or fintech
Hands-on experience with relational databases — PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server — for Camunda process engine persistence and audit storage
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized Camunda deployments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment of Camunda process applications
Strong leadership experience — managing and mentoring a team of developers in an Agile delivery environment
Excellent communication skills — ability to engage business stakeholders, translate process requirements, and present technical solutions clearly
Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex business process automation solutions using Camunda Platform.
Model, implement, and optimize BPMN 2.0 process definitions, DMN decision tables, and CMMN case models for financial domain workflows
Architect end-to-end workflow solutions covering process orchestration, human task management, external task patterns, event-driven processes, and compensation flows
Design and implement Camunda 8.x Zeebe-based solutions — job workers, message correlation, process variables, and connector framework
Lead migration planning and execution of Camunda 7.x process applications to Camunda 8.x, including assessment, re-modelling, testing, and cutover strategies
Implement and maintain Camunda Operate, Tasklist, Optimize, and Modeler integrations for process monitoring, reporting, and collaborative modelling
Develop reusable process templates, delegate expressions, scripting tasks, and service task connectors to accelerate delivery
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
