The Earned Value Program Specialist supports both commercial and military programs with business plans, earned value (EV) calculations and data deliverables.

The Specialist is part of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) team. The Specialist supports Mechanical Power Conversion business plans providing performance metrics, and report control account status used for senior leadership. This role will support the Pratt & Whitney Engine Systems (PWES) Value Stream.

This is a hybrid role where the Specialist will be required to be on-site at the Rockford office two to three days a week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Executes business plans, Earned Value (EV) calculations and data deliverables for Program Management.

  • Analyzes program metrics and status to develop business plans and proposals.

  • Assists in developing accurate program estimates to monitor EV performance.

  • Monitors progress of program against plans, EV targets, and other metrics using control and reporting systems.

  • Collects data and analysis in support of the business plans, proposal work statements, operating budgets, specifications and financial conditions of contracts.

  • Coordinates customer action item responses to meet customer program objectives.

  • Maintains program templates, metrics and presentation materials to ensure information on program status and performance is available for further analysis.

  • Manages EV calculations, planning, and data deliverables for all program phases from inception through completion.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Problem solving experience

  • Experience working in a team
