Pratt & Whitney's Integrated Business Planning (IBP) organization assesses the demand and output capacity of the entire P&W operations and supply chain network. Major functions of the IBP organization are Materials Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management and Materials Execution. The Product Delivery Center (PDC) Planning team within the Materials Planning organization is looking for an analytical, goal oriented individual to execute materials planning processes within the PDC Planning team. The successful candidate is customer-focused and motivated to work in a dynamic and highly interactive work environment that connects the P&W value stream. The PDC Network Administrator is a key role within the Value Stream and IBP organization that maintains systems to ensure schedule accuracy, enable proper financial structure of our engines and modules and minimize excess inventory. They/She/He will leverage best practices and industry standards to support process health, as well as ensure data quality to prepare for future tools and ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute Materials Planning processes as well as inventory control including:Communicate and synchronize with all applicable functions to execute timely and accurate implementation for networked engines and build allocations to multiple assembly sites.

Execute schedule and arrangement changes on networked engines.

Support production order maintenance such that the physical material on an assembly matches virtual inventory in real-time and ensure production orders completion for shipped engines.

Execute production order releases in coordination with planned part changes to support the PDC assembly floors

Engineering change incorporation

Master data changes

Birdfeeder maintenance

Inventory buffering and management

Planning parameter implementation

Support system inventory investigation & reconciliation between assembly site and demand plants to ensure accurate inventory and MRP requirements

Support MRP schedule investigations and integrate with the material planners throughout the full value stream to ensure alignment

Support annual MMAS audits; ensure compliance requirements such as:Maintain assembly network structures to stay current with demonstrated lead times and financial WBS requirements.

Planning parameter (safety stock, lotting, etc.) reviews and maintenance

Manage standard work / policies / procedures / KPIs

Collaborate across functional areas to manage change and implement new processes specifically related to MRP initiatives, Final Assembly Line demand management and production order processing.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 5-7 years of related experience in Operations or Supply Chain

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have strong problem solving, organizational, project management, decision-making and presentation skills.

Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently with the value stream.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree

APICS / ASCM certification.

Raytheon Six Sigma, ACE, or CORE advanced certification

Knowledge and familiarity with SAP System transactions.

Ability to process and communicate information using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

SQL and data analytics experience

  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or

systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
