Job Description:
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Should have 3+ yrs of experience as Network Security Engineer
Well experienced at handling multiple system operations, including installation, upgrade, configuration, administration and maintenance of Microsoft network systems
Should provide technical support and have thorough experience and knowledge of Windows, Linux operating systems, hardware, desktop peripherals, network systems and antivirus
Should be experienced in Microsoft Azure and its networking solutions
Generating and maintaining the Virtual Private Network(VPN)
Troubleshoot & configuration of Servers, Laptops & Desktops
Candidate should be able to periodically report on Security Incident Response Planning, Risk & Vulnerability Assessment, Incident Response Process, Host-based Intrusion Detection, Security Audits, Patch Management
Maintaining LAN, WLAN and architecture of the servers
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes
Configure and install various network devices and services like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Tracking the vulnerable scripts to avert the potential threats
Status reports of hardware and software products as per designated policies
Monitoring of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security
Reporting the security analysis of findings
Implement a virus detection system beforehand for sound safety
Supervising the installation of new software and hardware
Skilled in any of the tools like Juniper, Fortinet and Palo Alto are preferred
Understanding of the network security requirements in a cloud-based environment as well as impact of mobile devices and endpoint management concerns
Building blueprints, models, and strategies to strengthen the security of networks
Testing existing safety systems and protocols
Monitoring and improving identity security across a computer system
Simulating cyberattacks to determine vulnerabilities within existing systems
