Job Summary:
15+ years overall IT experience with strong Data Engineering background.
5+ years of deep, hands-on experience in Databricks (multiple enterprise implementations).
Strong expertise in:
Apache Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL)
Delta Lake
Databricks Workflows & Jobs
Unity Catalog
MLflow
Structured Streaming
Experience with one or more Cloud Platforms:
AWS (S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, IAM)
Azure (ADLS, ADF, Synapse)
GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow)
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
Experience implementing CI/CD for Databricks deployments.
Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Knowledge of Snowflake or other modern data warehouse platforms.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
Performance tuning and cost optimization experience.
