Job Description:

 

  • Manage the team responsible for preparation regulatory returns
  • Able to manage and oversee the planning, testing, and implementation of projects and initiatives, which affect the Regulatory Reporting & wider Finance team.
  • In the Financial Services Industry, person should have experience in Global Markets and Investment Banking
  • Should have experience in dealing with regulators in handling the regulations complying with the complete lifecycle of the trade including front office, middle office, and back office
  • Should have experience in working for LIBOR/BREXIT/SOFR
  • In Risk Technology, should have experience in Collateral Management/Margins/Repo Functions/RegTech functions
  • For all returns ensure the reporting is in accordance with the relevant external reporting requirements.
  • Able to assess, recommend and execute remediation for all identified issues
  • Standardizing the documentation for the local regulatory reporting and managing the periodic updates and ensure effective reviews of all returns is undertaken
  • Active management of all control weaknesses in line with bank protocols
  • Embed and drive adherence to the Governance & Oversight Framework
  • Ensure all operational documentation is maintained and is best in class
  • Able to design and implement effective controls
  • Ensure compliance with all internal recommendations and guidance
  • Manage the daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting as required by local regulatory bodies
  • Manage and oversee daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting required by regulators.
  • Drive change to ensure the Regulatory Reporting team is best in class.
  • Undertake regular self-assessments to ensure all new risks are actively managed and mitigated
  • Ensure the team executes and manages all regulatory changes in a timely and controlled manner.

Key Skills:


  • Minimum Experience: 10 Yrs

Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science/Engineering.
