We have an amazing Opportunity right now as a Millwright Labor Grade 5

1st Shift: Monday Through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:

Assembling and installing process machines and testing them to make sure they are working correctly.

Must be able to troubleshoot and determine corrective repair actions for down Process Equipment.

Assume the responsibility of completing the work assigned in a quality & timely manner under moderate to minimal supervision.

Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations.

Perform planned maintenance and planned maintenance repairs on Process Equipment to ensure minimum downtime.

Diagnose problematic mechanical failures by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts.

Dismantling older machines and replacing them with new machines.

Proficient in using precision measuring instruments to align Process Equipment to align pumps and motors prior to operation or after repairs.

May be asked to work varying shifts as needed, including weekends.

Proficient in using various wrenches, hammer drills, hydraulic press, drills, band saw, laser level, and other similar tools.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum 2 plus years experience in a manufacturing environment.

U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpretation of schematics.

Demonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe manner.

Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).

Willingness to train and the willingness to work overtime when required.

Ability to work independently in the field.

Strong understanding of Machine diagnostics.

Strong communication and computer skills.

May be asked to work varying shifts as needed, including weekends.

Must adhere to strict safety guidelines and be aware of cognizant of safety risks.

Able to obtain and maintain certifications to operate powered industrial vehicles.

Ability to be a team player due to constant interactions with similar employees, and stake holders such as Engineers, Plant Managers, and Vendors amongst others.

Possess excellent judgement and professional maturity.

Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints.

Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to solve process machine issues.

Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Proficient with SAP.
