Are you ready to go beyond

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Specialist to join our team. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the next generation of P&W digital products and services.

This position will report within the Customer Business organization. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, financially savvy, and passionate about their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) portfolio database of information containing key financial metrics & data to support ongoing campaign activity & requests for information.
  • Perform analysis to support & update the financial targets set for active campaigns.
  • Provide monthly updates of the active campaign cost sheets to be included in the database.
  • Prepare a comprehensive portfolio update presentation on a quarterly basis to share with the customer business organization and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Engines FP&A and the GTF business case teams to ensure alignment across financial assumptions & other key criteria.
  • Support the annual Long Range Plan process by providing the latest financial data related to shipsets, Negative Engine Margin, volumes, shop visits, & aftermarket returns.
  • Maintain the portfolio tools that help facilitate approvals discussions through comparison of signed and active deals.
  • Support frequent adhoc portfolio data requests from the Customer Business Organization.
  • Update the portfolio cost sheets as needed when Cost Estimator (ICE) model updates occur
  • Get a chance to lead the financial analysis on strategic campaigns & assist the Campaigns Analysis Group with excess workload including but not limited to:
  • Develop and manage multiple complex financial models, simultaneously, to affirm value for New Engine Business and Aftermarket campaign proposals across all (global) regions.
  • Participate in campaign strategy formulation; kick-off to final decision, coordinating with team members from Sales, Contracts, Legal, Programs, Operations Analytics, Engine Services and Accounting.
  • Provide detailed sensitivity analysis on engine contract pricing to determine optimal engine cost and aftermarket terms to provide maximum value to both the customer and Pratt & Whitney.
  • Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for approval.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in related field with 5+ years of experience or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Financial modeling background with strong financial/analytical skills.
  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively through all levels of organization.
  • Must be a self-motivated team player and possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently with little direction while handling multiple of high priority projects.
