Job Description:
We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with strong experience in architecting and developing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and LE Audio features on Linux-based embedded platforms. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with C++, Linux internals, and Bluetooth stack implementations, with experience delivering consumer-facing software products.
Minimum 8 + years of experience in C/C++ development within embedded or system-level environments.
Experienced in working with Linux/Unix, Bluetooth stack, and LE Audio protocols.
In-depth understanding in C++ 17/20, Clang toolchain, CMake, and Python programming
Hands-on experience with Bluetooth 5.1/5.2, Classic, BLE, Bluetooth Linux Host, and BlueZ (both user and kernel space).
Well versedin HOGP, GATT, GAP, BAS profiles, and related BLE standards.
Exposure to audio systems and codecs: SBC, LC3, ALSA, and PipeWire.
Possess a strongunderstanding of Linux subsystems like D-Bus, HIDRAW, Glib,GDBus, input event drivers, and Git.
A collaborative and results-driven engineer who excels at solving intricate technical problems in embedded environments and contributing effectively in cross-functional teams.
Architected, designed, and maintained Bluetooth stack integrations within a custom Linux-based TV operating system.
Developed and enhanced applications enabling Bluetooth audio and peripheral device connectivity.
Migrated legacy Bluetooth audio features to LE Audio and introduced new application-level functionalities.
Led sustenance engineering efforts, including performance tuning, bug resolution, and feature updates for Bluetooth modules.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams to support Bluetooth system validation, integration, and deployment.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
