This is an entry-level Powder Coating position in support of multiple production lines producing aircraft seats under direct supervision. This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAAs regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Able to operate powder coat equipment proficiently with minimal supervision
  • Able to perform routine and continuous powder coat operations with minimal supervision.
  • Able to read and follow work orders or standard work to perform powder coat functions
  • Understands quality criteria and requirements for the powder coat area
  • Actively works with team members in and out of the area to promote teamwork
  • Takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with
  • Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace
  • Adhere to all rules and Codes of Conduct
  • Perform other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to mask, hang, powder coat, unhang & inspect parts under supervision
  • Ability to wear required PPE (respirator) for a continuous length of time
  • Ability to understand and perform job duties to meet quality criteria
  • Willing to perform hand and body warm-up exercises to minimize potential for repetitive motion injuries
  • Read and understands English
  • Basic Mechanical knowledge
  • Basic Computer and Shop math skills
  • Willing to cross-train in other areas
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day

In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $34,424-46,571 ; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education/training, and key skills.
